Short Bio:
Kenton Clymer grew up in Naperville, IL, graduated from Grinnell College, and completed his graduate studies at the University of Michigan where studied under Bradford Perkins. His has written seven books, most of which focus of American involvement in South and Southeast Asia. He has had the privilege of living and teaching in several Asian countries, including the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and, most recently, China, where he was a Distinguished Fulbright Lecturer. He was also a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in 2011-12.
