SHAFR Events at the AHA (NYC- January 2015)


SHAFR will host three functions at the annual meeting of the American Historical Association in New York City in January 2015. Please plan to attend:

The luncheon will feature the 2015 Stuart L. Bernath Memorial Lecture:

“Revolutionary Circuits: Toward Internationalizing Cultural Approaches to the Study of U.S. in the World”
Lien-Hang T. Nguyen, University of Kentucky

The luncheon will include the awarding of the Stuart L. Bernath Dissertation Research Grant, the W. Stull Holt Dissertation Fellowship, the Lawrence Gelfand – Armin Rappaport – Walter LaFeber Dissertation Fellowship, the Samuel Flagg Bemis Dissertation Research Grants, the William Appleman Williams Junior Faculty Research Grants, the Myrna F. Bernath Fellowship, the Michael J. Hogan Foreign Language Fellowship, and the Stuart L. Bernath Lecture Prize.
