The Henry A. Kissinger Visiting Scholars Program awards one predoctoral fellowship funded for one year. Predoctoral Kissinger Visiting Scholars must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program, have completed all coursework, and are working on a Ph.D. dissertation focused on the role of the United States in global affairs from World War II to the present, including the conduct of U.S. statecraft, diplomacy, and grand strategy.
Hoover Library & Archives Now Accepting Applications for the Summer Workshop on Authoritarianism and Democratic Breakdown
The Hoover Institution Library & Archives at Stanford University is pleased to announce that applications for the 2018 Workshop on Authoritarianism and Democratic Breakdown will be accepted from February 15 to April 5, 2018. Application forms and guidelines can be found on the Hoover Library & Archives website. The workshop will be held at the Hoover Institution on the Stanford campus from July 15 to July 27, 2018.
Call for Proposals: Editor of Diplomatic History
The Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations (SHAFR) is issuing a Call for Proposals to edit its flagship publication, Diplomatic History. The term of appointment will begin on July 1, 2019, and, as stipulated in SHAFR’s by-laws, will extend for at least three but no more than five years.
