Short Bio: 
Philip Nash is Associate Professor of History at Penn State University, Shenango Campus, where he has received three awards for his teaching. In 2010 he was Fulbright Visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore. Before coming to Pennsylvania he held a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University and taught in Nevada, Tennessee, and Ohio. He is author of The Other Missiles of October: Eisenhower, Kennedy, and the Jupiters, 1957-1963 (University of North Carolina Press, 1997) as well as numerous articles and book chapters. His current research is on America’s first female ambassadors, 1933-64.
